Ex. I heard kissing and moaning sounds coming from my son’s bedroom.
Naturally, I approached the door with trepidation.
Galumph = to move in a clumsy manner or with a heavy tread
Ex. It was so funny to watch him galumph around the house with his cumbersome
Halloween costume on.
Sycophant = one who seeks favor by flattery
Ex. I used to like her but then I realized how two-faced she is, she’s such a
sycophant.
Malodorous = having a bad odor
Ex. The kids came in after a long game of football, the whole room became
Malodorous!
Apogee = the highest point
Ex. We hiked this vertical trail and from the apogee we had the most amazing view.
Slaver = to slobber; to droll
Ex. Our friends got the cutest puppy, but it slavers all over the place!
